This January, KMDI Instructor Luke Weatherstone will be hosting a 3-day and 2-night hike in the Blue Mountains. Over three days, you will hike with all your essential equipment on your back, experiencing breath-taking scenery, cooking food as a big family, and living simply.
We will be participating in numerous Krav Maga scenarios and activities, most exciting of which are the “Hunter” games.
There is no minimum Krav Maga skill level required to participate in the camp. Previous hiking experience is preferred, as this will be a strenuous and rewarding experience off the beaten track.
The price of the hike is $250.
There are strictly 8 spots available. Once these are filled, your name can be placed on a waiting list if there are any cancellations.
This does include:
- All meals for the 3 days.
- A custom patch.
- A custom t-shirt.
This does not include:
- Camping equipment.
- Water storing containers. (We will refill on the trip.)
Q: Who is this hike for?
A: This hike is for KMDI members who have a background in hiking and outdoor adventure. You will be required to have all your own gear, including, but not limited to: backpack, tent, sleeping bag and suitable clothing. An exhaustive list of gear suggested and required will be made available when you sign up. Coordination of shared resources such as tents and cooking equipment will also be organised once you register.
Q: I just bought a spot, now what?
A: We’ll be sending you an email with some information shortly. Please read the information carefully and reply that you have received it.
Q: What are the start and finish times for the hike?
A: We will meet at Dunphys Camping Area at 10am on Friday, 26 January. Finish will be at the same point around 4pm on Sunday, 28 January. The exact finish time may vary slightly. Carpooling will also be discussed once you register.
