Membership FAQ

Do I need to be fit to start Krav Maga?

Krav Maga training is challenging. With that being said, in our classes we push everyone according to their own level and not to someone else's. You do not need to be fit to start training in Krav Maga. You do need to come with motivation and be prepared to work hard. We will help you with the rest. *If you are a male over the age of 35 or a female over 45 and not accustomed to exercise, you should consult with you doctor before commencing any rigorous physical training program.

Can I pause my membership?

If for some reason you need to put your membership on hold you can do so at any time. We'll need a 14 days notice to update our system. You'll be able to freeze your account for a minimum of 2 weeks, and a maximum of 8 weeks.

What if I need to cancel my membership?

Taking on a membership with KMDI is a commitment both to yourself and to us, so we encourage all members to stick with their motivation. That said, we do understand that life can throw curve balls, so if you find yourself in trouble please discuss your situation with us directly, by calling us on 1300 547 899. There is no minimum term and members may cancel at any time. To cancel a membership we require 14 days notification.

What is the progression in Krav Maga?

After training regularly for at least 4 months you will be able to apply for assessment for your first level in Krav Maga 'Yellow Belt' (we have 6 levels in total). Once you successfully complete this level you will be able to train in the advanced and fight club classes as well.
