Real self-defence rarely happens in the clean, open space of a training floor. It happens in crowded, confined and unpredictable environments, where movement is restricted, decisions must be made under pressure and the people around you may also need protection.
For the first time, KMDI is taking a full day of training beyond the gym.
Saturday, 29 August
9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Krav Maga Northern Beaches
5/3 Vuko Place, Warriewood
The morning will be spent aboard a privately hired bus, followed by practical drills inside a local pub during the afternoon. You will train in the kinds of environments where self-defence skills may actually be needed.
Bus training 09:00 - 11:30
Lunch break 11:30 - 12:30
Bar training 12:30 - 15:00
Throughout the day, you will train:
• Defending yourself in confined and crowded spaces
• Managing threats on public transport and inside a pub
• Using your surroundings to your advantage
• De-escalation and decision making under pressure
• Protecting friends, family members and others
• Applying your skills through realistic simulations and scenarios
This workshop is suitable for every experience level. Beginners will receive an exciting and practical introduction to Krav Maga, while experienced students will have the opportunity to take their skills off the mat and apply them in more complex environments.
This month, our focus is on making our community safer, and you can be part of that. Our community is KMDI’s greatest asset, and we want more good people to join it. Bring a friend, partner or family member and experience the day together.
Individual admission: $85
Two-person package: $110 total, saving $60
Open to ages 16 and over. No previous Krav Maga experience is required.
Dinner and refreshments will follow the training.
This is the first time KMDI has offered a full training day like this. Spaces are limited.
